RENT OUT YOUR PROPERTY

We have a large quantity of clients who are interested in renting apartments and villas in Mallorca. Some of them are interested in long term renting, but most are looking for a holiday rental. It means that they will be in Mallorca for en or two weeks, or in some cases up to a month.

El Limon will take care of the marketing of your property. We will also give the client all the necessary information before the rental period and also take in payments. We will receive the clients when they arrive to show them to the property and to hand over keys. If a problem occurs during their stay, the client will contact us. We can even take care of the cleaning of the property between the rent sessions.

CREATE YOUR HOLIDAY WITH EL LIMON

• The first step is to find your favourite property in our collection. Search our website for this. When you have found the holiday home of your choice you send a reservation request to us.
• After some days you will receive a confirmation. Your holiday home will be reserved for you as soon as you send the deposit (25% of the price). This deposit will be returned in full when you are leaving your holiday home. The reservation is now made for you and you can reserve your flight tickets.
• 30 days after the reservation is made you will pay 50% of the rent. The rest will be settled 30 days before the rental period starts. With each payment you will receive a receipt with confirmation.
• You can choose to let El Limon arrange your transportation from the airport. You can also add extra cleaning of your holiday home and extra change of sheets and towels if you wish.
• You will now receive all necessary information about your holiday property and about the area where you have chosen to spend your vacation.
• When you arrive in Alcudia our representative will meet you and show you your holiday home. El Limon will assist you during your stay and make sure that your home is functioning well

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A HOLIDAY RENTAL

• Your holiday home will be cleaned and equipped with clean sheets and towels on your arrival. Cleaning on departure is also included in the price.
• Your holiday home is equipped according to its specifications. You will find a full set of kitchen equipment (glasses, plates, pans etc) according to the amount of regular beds. In most cases the home has a dining area as well as a sofa area. Apart from the normal kitchen machinery you often find microwave oven, washing and dishwashing machines. Larger apartments and villas are equipped with several bed rooms and bath rooms for your convenience. See the description of each apartment for details.
• Well ahead of your holiday you will receive information and tips about the area you are to visit.
• During your stay our representative is only a phone call away if something out of the ordinary needs to be corrected.

BUSINESS PREMISES AND LEASES

Most business premises are available for rent and these can vary in size and type and can be located throughout the island. Some you will find come with all the necessary fixtures and fittings for example for a bar, café or restaurant and are fully equipped with tables and chairs and are ready to do business immediately. Some have the necessary permissions and licences and others need more preparations. Some premises are empty shells that will need to be fitted out and converted into the type of business you will be running.

Many business premises are sold on leasehold. It means that the business owner sells you the business itself and the equipment and furniture included. With the business follows a contract with the owner of the property where the business will be. This contract includes rents and conditions and will in many cases be renegotiated when the leasehold is settled. An important part is the length of this contract.

LONG TERM RENTAL

El Limon also arranges rentals stretching one year or longer. We have owners who are interested to rent out their apartment, villa or finca for longer periods. See our Long Term Rental section for examples.

We require payment of two months rental in advance, one month being a refundable deposit should everything be in order at the end of the contract (one year rental contract).
