HOW TO GET TO ALCUDIA
52km north of the capital, Palma de Mallorca, Alcudia is easily reachable from the Son Sant Joan International airport. You can travel to Alcudia by taxi or by using the regular bus service between the towns. If you decide to drive yourself instead, the PM-27 highway will take you from Palma to as far north as the town of Inca. From Inca, the main C-713 then takes you right in to the heart of Alcudia. |
HOW TO GET AROUND IN ALCUDIA
The town of Alcudia is very accessable whether on foot, bicycle or vehicle. The public transportation system is more than adequate for this well dispersed city. Most of Alcudia's attractions are located near the coast and port, easily reachable by walking or bicycling.

BUS
Most of the island is accessible by bus from Palma. From Palma you can get to for example to Porto de Andratx, Cala Ratjada, Can Picafort, Porto de Pollenca and of course to Alcudia. Direct bus to Alcudia goes 5 times a day. The local bus is also going every 15 min from Can Picafort – Playa De Muro – Puerto Alcudia – Alcudia Town – Puerto Pollenca.

TRAIN
Two train line run from Palma, to Sa Pobla and Manacor. One more is going from Palma to Soller, which was built 1912 and is nowadays popular way to go to see the town of Soller by to sea, behind the mountains (see: www.trendesoller.com). |
